Professor Paschalis Fortomaris received the Diploma of Veterinary Medicine (1994) and his phD (1999) from the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine of Aristotle University of Thessaloniki. He became a faculty member as a Lecturer of Animal Production at the Laboratory of Animal Husbandry at Faculty of Veterinary Medicine of Aristotle University of Thessaloniki in 2000. Before joining the Faculty he worked as a Veterinarian-Scientific consultant for enterprises regarding the animal production sector (ΑGRIVET Ltd., PROVIMI BV etc.). He was also a Visiting Scientist in Scottish Agricultural College, Scotland. Since 2010 he is a Diplomate of the European College of Porcine Health Management. Since 2018 he was promoted at the full Professor level. He is currently (since 2020) the Dean of the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine of Aristotle University of Thessaloniki.
