Georgios A. Papadopoulos received the Diploma of Veterinary Medicine from the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine of Aristotle University of Thessaloniki (2004). He became a Doctor of Philosophy in the Science of Veterinary Medicine, Faculty of Veterinary Medicine, University of Ghent, Belgium (2008). Afterwards, followed post-doc education at Kansas State University (2009). He joined the private sector in the animal feed industry in Greece (2009-2013), and later he became an Associate Technical Service Manager for KEMIN EMEA (2013-2014). He became a faculty member as a Lecturer of Monogastric Animal Science at the Laboratory of Animal Husbandry at Faculty of Veterinary Medicine of Aristotle University of Thessaloniki in 2014. Since October 2018 was promoted to Assistant Professor. His research interest area is monogastric animal science and applied nutrition, effects of dietary ingredients and feeding practices on performance, metabolism and health of monogastric productive animals.
