Carl Andreas Groentvedt qualified as a veterinary surgeon in 2009 at the Norwegian School of Veterinary Science. After having worked in private practice, he enrolled in a standard residency programme at the Norwegian School of Veterinary Science in 2011. He passed the ECPHM qualifying exams in 2014, and subsequently served for three years as Board Member and Secretary of the ECPHM. He is employed as a researcher and swine health expert at the Norwegian Veterinary Institute in Oslo.
